Lorraine Sarah Wallin, age 88 lifelong resident of Virginia died Friday, November 3, 2017 in the Essentia Virginia Care Center. She was born December 13, 1928 in Virginia, the daughter of Albert and Helen (Koski) Skarp. Lorraine married Raymond Wallin on September 25, 1948 in Hibbing and was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, puzzles and reading.

Lorraine is survived by her husband: Ray; children: David (Sandy) Wallin of Lake Vermilion – Tower and Marjorie Wallin of Chisholm; grandchildren: Sheila Wallin of Lindstrom MN, Sara (Mike Choate) Bevan of Ramsey MN, Sandra (Jose) Barrios of Monument CO, Katie (Jeremey Lockwood) Richards of Virginia, and Nick (Lisa) Richards of Virginia; eight great-grandchildren; extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sons: Glenn and Mark Wallin; and sister: Marjorie Skarp.

The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 5, 2017 in the Bauman-Cron Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Nathan Sager will officiate. A Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.
