Lucille Delores Dorscher, age 75, of Virginia, and formerly of Minot, ND and Pequot Lakes, MN, died Thursday, April 29, 2010 in St. Michael's Health and Rehabilitation Center in Virginia. She was born July 10, 1934 in Belcourt, ND the daughter of Pierre "Pete" and Mary (Wilke) Belgrade. She attended school in Belcourt, and was united in marriage to Conrad Dorscher on November 22, 1953 in Drake, ND.
Lucille worked as a homemaker, and was a loving mother and wife. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Virginia. Lucille was an animal lover, and she enjoyed sewing and crocheting.
Lucille is survived by six children: Luke (Debbie) Dorscher of Grand Rapids, MN, Deanna "Cookie" Dorscher of St. Paul, MN, Shelby (Kevin) Dowty of International Falls, MN, Joycelyn Dorscher of Duluth, MN, Janelle (Joe) Burton of Eveleth, and Stacy Dorscher of Gilbert, MN; a sister: Cecilia Trottier; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband: Conrad Dorscher; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm Sunday, May 2, 2010 in the Bauman-Cron Funeral Home in Virginia, and will continue from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, May 3, 2010 in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Virginia. Fr. John O'Donnell will be the Celebrant. Interment will be in the Forbes Cemetery.
