Marcia Irene Felty, age 73, lifelong resident of Hibbing, died Thursday, January 13, 2011 in Heritage Manor in Chisholm. She was born February 21, 1937 in Hibbing the daughter of James and Mary (Pustovar) Krause. She attended school in Kelly Lake. Marcia was united in Marriage to James Felty on November 25, 1955 in Duluth, MN.
Marcia worked as a homemaker, and was also employed at the Cobb-Cook school cafeteria, and volunteered her time with meals on wheels and the Senior Tour Center in Hibbing. She was an active member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Hibbing, and was a member of the VFW women's auxiliary. She enjoyed volunteering and making an occasional trip to the casinos.
Marcia is survived by two sons: Mark Felty of Chicago, and James Felty of Hibbing; two brothers: Jerry (Jonelle) Krause of Minneapolis, and John (Patty) Krause of Minneapolis; seven grandchildren: Brandy, James, Kevin, Justin, Jason, Jennifer, and Matthew; a daughter-in-law: Raedeen of Chisholm; and a sister-in-law: Joan Danculovich of Chisholm.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: James; her son: Steven; two brothers: Michael and Jimmy; and a sister: Barbara.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm funeral service Sunday, January 16, 2011 in the Wesley United Methodist Church, in Hibbing. The Reverend Terry Tilton will officiate. Interment will be at a later date in the Maple Hill Cemetery.
