Margaret "Marge" Rose Stupca, age 81 of Mt. Iron died Sunday, January 4, 2015 in the Diamond Willow Residence. She was born July 13, 1933 in Gilbert the daughter of Ignatius and Rose (Strah) Russ and was a graduate of Gilbert High school class of 1951. Marge married Edward Stupca on August 9, 1952 in Gilbert and they made their home in Gilbert and Virginia. She was a homemaker with a passion for gardening, and enjoyed decorating, baking, cooking, blueberry picking, trips to casinos, bowling, and her beloved dogs.
Marge is survived by her husband: Ed; children: Sue (Bill) Kamnikar of Eveleth, Denise (Brad) Erickson of Baxter, and Greg (Dawn) Stupca of Duluth; daughter-in-law: Gail Stupca of Virginia; grandchildren: Ben (Samantha Rolfes) Stupca, Kelly Kamnikar, Dan Stupca, Sydney (Peter Mayer) Erickson, Ryan Stupca and Kyle Stupca; siblings: Catherine Arjavec, Eddie Russ, and Tina Gibson; numerous nieces nephews, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son: Eddie; grandson: Preston Erickson; and step-siblings: Frank, Joe, Isabelle, Pauline, and Anne.
Private Family Services will be held.
