Marianne S. Swanson, age 84, of Mckinley and formerly of Makinen and Mankato died peacefully in her sleep Thursday, October 6, 2016. She was born June 11, 1932 in Sheldon, IA. She was united in marriage to Charles N. Swanson.

Marianne was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, going to the movies, and spoiling her pug: Gracie. Banana bread and hamburger and onion pizza were two of her favorite foods.

Marianne is survived by her children: Alan (Tamara) Robb, Nola Robb, Jody Robb, Gena (Allen) Neveaux, Eric Robb, Sandra Kortz and Christopher Kortz; 22 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; the love of her life: Charles; and her daughter: Rose Anne Marie Robb.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 pm, Friday, October 14, 2016, at the Bauman-Cron Funeral Home Chapel.
