Marlys Kay Allen (Hahn), age 51 of Virginia died unexpectedly, Thursday, November 17, 2016 in her home. She was born September 2, 1965 in Aurora, the daughter of David and Shirley (Kline) Hahn and was a 1983 graduate of Tower-Soudan High School. Marlys was a lifelong resident of the Iron Range, and was employed as dining staff at Edgewood Vista. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother and friend who lived life by her own rules.

Marlys is survived by parents: David and Shirley Hahn of Ely; longtime partner: Brian Bialczak of Virginia; sons: Dylan (Jessica G.) Zollar of Virginia and Corey L. (Brooke N.) Franklin of Virginia; siblings: Mark (Shari) Hahn of Bemidji and Sherry (Dennis Norberg) Abrahamson of Mt. Iron; nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by grandparents and Uncles and Aunts.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
