Marshall Ray Stahl, age 66 of Eveleth died unexpectedly of natural causes, on July 3, 2017 in his home. He was born June 6, 1951 in Virginia, the son of Ray and Marjorieann (Michaels) Stahl, was a graduate of Virginia High School and attended Mesabi Junior College. Marsh was the owner/operator of Stahl's Upholstery, and was proud to carry on the family business. He was a gifted musician who loved to perform live music. Bands Marsh played in include: "Show and Tell", "Nostalgia", and "Freeway". He was a very active member of the Virginia Rifle and Pistol Club, a proud member of the NRA, and a member of the Eveleth Elks Lodge. Marsh will be remembered for his sense of humor, his passion for family, and his love of conservative talk radio.

Marsh is survived by his sons: Ben (Kristen) Stahl of Virginia and Jason (Meghan Brigan) Stahl of Superior, WI; sister: Melissa (Ken) Fishwick of Britt; sister-in-law: Patti Delich of Eveleth; his beloved granddaughter: Sofia Rose; extended family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Russell; and aunts and uncles: Bev and Don Stahl and Chuck and Olive Stahl.

The Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Gethsemane Evangelical Lutheran Church in Virginia. Pastor Nathan Sager and Bill Bauman will lead the service. A gathering time for family and friends will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Church.

Memorials are preferred and may be directed to the Virginia Rifle and Pistol Club.
