Obituary

Funeral services for Marvel (Betters) Warner, 80, of Mountain Iron, will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, November 24th at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Hibbing. A gathering for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the funeral services at the church.
On November 6th, 2012, Marvel passed away with family by her side. She was born on February 19th, 1932 and lived her whole life in Hibbing until 8 years ago when she moved to Mountain Iron. Marvel graduated from Hibbing High School in 1950 and married her sweetheart, Vern, on September 23rd, 1950. She was a wonderful mother and wife and a precious gift from God. Marvel loved to cook and was devoted to her family. She touched so many hearts, in so many ways and her aura could brighten up even the darkest days. She will be greatly missed but until we meet again, we know she is singing and dancing in heaven with the angels.
Marvel is preceded in death by her husband Vernon; her parents, George and Harriet; brothers: Lester, Truman, Marvin, Bud; sisters: Avalon, Gladys, Marybelle, Alice, Faye and Marion; and great-granddaughter Ameila Jo Damjanovich.
Marvel is survived by children: Mark (Donna) Warner, Debra Warner (Edward) Williams, Tammy Lindahl and friend Bill Cogger, Kathy (Chris) Nelson, Tracy (Mike) Fettig, Michael Warner and friend Michelle Lofdack; grandchildren: Jason, Stacey, Ryan, Amber, Matt, Amy, Joseph, Zachary and Trevor; great-grandchildren: Austin, Kayla, Kaelean, Prestin, Libradea, Emma, Maekealla, Aubrey, Mason, Collenz, Alexis, Liam, and Owen; sister-in-law Angie Betters.
