Mary
Lewis
Aug 5, 1963 — Nov 8, 2018
Mary Jo Lewis (Tronnes) was born on August 5, 1963 in Hibbing, MN to Paula Tronnes (Pederson). She passed peacefully surrounded by close family on November 8, 2018 at the young age of 55.
Mary Jo grew up in Kelly Lake and moved to Hibbing where she graduated high school, remaining a lifelong resident of the Iron Range. She had a huge heart filled with endless love and selflessness, always putting others before herself. Her children could not have asked for a more exceptional mother, a mother who taught them to love deeply and forgive honestly. She was our best friend and we are eternally grateful for the time God allowed her to be with us. To her sisters, she will always be remembered with love as who she was when she was their funny, gentle Mouse. Mary Jo cherished the time she spent with her kids and grandkids and especially held dear to her heart the time she spent talking to her dad in the woodshed, as well as the time she spent with her own mom the last couple of years. In her free time, Mary Jo enjoyed reading books and watching her murder shows on the I.D. channel. She had a passion for football and was a die-hard Vikings fan who loved playing Candy Crush and slots.
Mary Jo is survived by her mother: Paula Tronnes; her children: Joshua (Kate) Putman, Shauna (Dakota) Powers, Cody Putnam, and Nicole (Ian) McGhgy; her sisters: Brigit Ward, Megan (John) Kemper, and Jonna Ziebarth; grandchildren: Jolee, Kota, and Lux Powers; Olivia and Lyric Putnam; and Beezie and Sailor McGhghy; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her dad: John Tronnes; her son: Kevin; daugher: Sarah; her Grandma and Grandpa Pete and Grandma and Grandpa Tronnes.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 19, 2018 in the Crown Ballroom.
