Mary Ann Rathbun, age 95, a longtime resident of Hibbing died peacefully in her sleep Sunday, June 11, 2017 in Edmond, Oklahoma. She was born February 1, 1922 in Duluth, MN, the daughter of Henry Frank and Gertrude Pauline (White) Storms and graduated from Duluth Central High School. Mary was united in marriage to Robert Cecil Rathbun on September 20, 1947 in Duluth and was married for over 50 years. Mary worked for the telephone company in Duluth before moving to the Iron Range and was a homemaker. She was a member of the 1st Presbyterian Church in Hibbing. She enjoyed playing cards, knitting, spending time at the lakeside cabin, and entertaining friends and family.

Mary is survived by her son: Chris Rathbun of Edmond, OK; three granddaughters: Sarah, Shauna, and Susan Rathbun of Edmond, OK; nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Bob; sister: Gertrude Storms; and brother: Frank Storms.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 24th at 1st Presbyterian Church of Hibbing. Pastor Doug Workman will officiate. A visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Church. The committal service will be held at 2:15 p.m.at the Park Hill Cemetery follow in Duluth.
