May Irene Hopkins, age 92 of Hibbing died Saturday, April 14, 2018 in Fairview Range Medical Center. She was born April 30, 1925 in Hibbing, the daughter of John Emil and Emma (Elgland) Stone; and graduated from Hibbing High School and Virginia Junior College.

May is survived by her brother: Anders (Pat) Stone of Dewey Lake, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands: Fred Oman and James Hopkins; son: Randy Oman; sisters: Esther LiaBraaten and Edith Schroeder and brothers: John and Oscar Stone.

The Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, April 20, 2018 at the Anderson-Daniels Funeral Home in Hibbing. Pastor Rod Tuomi will officiate. A Gathering time for family and friends will begin at 11:00 a.m. Spring Inurnment will take place in the Hibbing Park – Maple Hill Cemetery.
