Melanie Lynn Lundquist, age 53, of Virginia died Saturday, March 21, 2015, at her home following a lengthy illness. She was born August 23, 1961 in Bemidji, MN, the daughter of Jerry and Diane Lundquist. She worked as a homemaker, and did home maintenance as well.
Melanie is survived by her partner: James Girard of Virginia; her son: Brandon (Kara Curtiss) Grumdahl of Grand Rapids; her daughter: Nicole Grumdahl of Virginia; her brother: Michael Lundquist of New Hope, MN; her mother: Diane (Jerry) Soukkala of Sawyer, MN; and her grandchildren: Grayson and Ava Curtiss.
She was preceded in death by her father, and her sister: Laurie Ann Feiner.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, March 30, 2015, at the Bauman-Cron Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Don Norr will officiate. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Virginia.
