Michael Bruce Lalli, age 57 of Virginia, MN died on July 11, 2012. He went home to be with his mother who died three years ago, to the day. He was born July 8, 1955 in Virginia, the son of John and Dorothy (Raukar) Lalli, was a graduate of High School in New Rochelle, NY and had served in the United States Armed Forces. Michael was a longtime Virginia resident, but his heart never really left New York. He was a carpenter, a member of the Catholic Church, and an avid NY Yankees fan. He loved his feisty cat; his dog who was his "best girl," ; and was always up for a good joke and poking fun. He was a fantastic father, had a listening ear and a kind heart. His granddaughter lit up his whole world and brought him endless smiles. He will be sadly missed.
Michael is survived by his daughter: Stephanie Clark of Virginia; granddaughter: Halo Jorgensen of Virginia; siblings Susie (Carl) Musial of New Milford, CN., Peter (Diane) Lalli of New Milford CN., and Bill (Jeanne) Lalli of White Plains, NY; sister-in-law: Sue Lalli of Fayal Twp. and nieces and nephews; Kelli Musial-Mohan, Andrew and Matthew Lalli, Shannon and Ryan Lalli, and Steven and John Lalli.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother John "Jack" Lalli.
A Visitation will be held Friday, July 20, 2012 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Virginia. Reverend Father John Doyle will be the Celebrant. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery.
