Mildred "Mitzie" Lubovich, age 83, lifelong resident of Hibbing died Wednesday, May 20, 2009 in the Hillcrest Parkside Dementia Residence. She was born April 22, 1926 in Hibbing the daughter of Paul and Frances (Rose) Ouke. She graduated from Hibbing High School. Mitzie was united in marriage to Andrew Lubovich on June 16, 1946.

Mitzie worked as a homemaker, and was a member of St. Basil's Serbian Orthodox Church in Chisholm.

Mitzie is survived by her children: Bobby Lubovich of Hibbing, Debbie (David) Sersha of Kelly Lake, Danny (Tamie) Lubovich of Kelly Lake, and Patti Tammaro of Virginia; six grandchildren: Nicole and Dave Sersha, Trisha (Jim) Wynne, Tracy Tammaro, and Jessica and Andy Lubovich; great-grandchildren: Marley Wynne and Addison LaBarge; and a brother: Robert (Dorothy) Ouke of Beatrice Lake.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband: Andrew in 1997, and a brother: Michael

At Mitzie's request, a private family service will be held. Burial will be in the Maple Hill cemetery in Hibbing.
