Myra Maude Moore, age 80, longtime resident of Hibbing and formerly of Keewatin and Grand Rapids, died Tuesday, June 18, 2013, in the Cornerstone Villa in Buhl with family at her side. She was born May 18, 1933, in Seattle, WA, the daughter of Lucious and Marjorie (Pepper) Boardman. She was united in marriage to John Eugene "Archie" Moore on September 25, 1953, in Grand Rapids, MN.
Myra worked as a homemaker. She was a member of the North Star Church in Hibbing. She enjoyed writing and handcrafts.
Myra is survived by her husband: John; her children: Maureen (Patrick) Janashak of Hibbing, Mary Waldron of Hibbing, Shelly (Chuck) Temple of Keewatin, Peggy (John) Nelson of Richfield, MN, Marlene "Buzzy" Paolo of Hibbing, and William "Pat" Moore of Hibbing; 17 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
Myra was preceded in death by her parents; her brother: Daryl Boardman; and her grandson: Drake Bays.
Visitation will be from 10:30 am until the 11:00 am memorial service Saturday, June 29, 2013, in the North Star Church in Hibbing. The Rev. Tim Maki will officiate.
