Nancy M. Olson, age 82 of Embarrass died Sunday, November 18, 2018 in the Edgewood Vista Senior Living Community. She was born October 3, 1936 in Hibbing, the daughter of John and Viola (George) Keseley. She married Richard H. Olson on February 19, 1955 in Hibbing and has lived in Hibbing, Babbitt, and Embarrass. Nancy was employed at the Cluett-Peabody Arrow Shirt Factory, Woolworths, K-Mart, Lampaa's Store, and with St. Louis County as a Home Health Aide. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, knitting and crocheting, and tending her lawn. She cherished her time spent with her grandchildren.

Nancy is survived by children: Sharon (Lavern) Kompelien of Embarrass and Kris (Janice) Olson of Pine River; grandchildren: Kathy (Chris) Johnson of Gilbert, Stephanie (Paul) Petersen of Otsego, and Heather (Jorge) Pacheco of Otsego; great-grandchildren: Brian Heikkila, Henry Heikkila, Louis Johnson, Persephoney Petersen, Arianna Petersen, Koen Petersen, and Jazmin Pacheco; siblings: John (Diane) Keseley of Terrebonne, OR, Fran (Ray) Richmond of Maupin, OR and David (Laray) George of Independence, OR; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Richard; grandson: Bryan; the uncle who raised her: Matt Keseley; and grandmother: Frances Keseley.

The Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 26, 2018 in Bauman's Vermilion Funeral Home in Tower. A Gathering time for family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Embarrass Cemetery.
