Nola Mae Rogers, age 54 of Virginia died unexpectedly on November 5, 2018 in her home. She was born November 9, 1965 in Virginia, the daughter of Almon and Lois (Torgerson) Johnson. Nola was a graduate of Virginia High School and was a longtime Virginia area resident. She was employed as a CNA at the Eveleth Fitzgerald Nursing Home, and was a member of Gethsemane Evangelical Lutheran Church. Nola enjoyed watching movies, reading and cross stitch. She was a homemaker, and a loving mother, a sister, and friend.

Nola is survived by her children: Ben Barnett of Iowa, Morgan Barnett of Charles City, Iowa, and Becka Barnett of Virginia; siblings: Marilyn Carlon of Palmyra, VA, Margaret (Arnie) Halverson of Britt, Brenda Ryberg of Virginia, Marvin (Sherry) Johnson of Virginia, and Carol Johnson of Idaho; four grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother: Richard; sister: Leona; and nephew: Adrian.

A Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Gethsemane Evangelical Lutheran Church.
