Norma J. Bodovinac, age 91, died on Thursday February 29, 2024.  She was born February 13, 1933 in Virginia, MN, the daughter of Vernon and Henna (Johnson) Hanela.  She graduated from Virginia High School in 1951 and then in 1953 she married John Bodovinac.  Norma and John lived in many states while he was in the Air Force.

Norma was dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming home for her family.  She found joy in spending summers at Lake Vermillion with her husband, friends and family creating cherished memories that will be treasured forever.  She attended Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Virginia. Norma also had a variety of hobbies that brought her happiness.

Norma is survived by her daughters:  Toni Bobovinac of Penrose, Co and Dara Yarbourough of Cadet, Mo; grandhildren: DeRoy Stewart, Raena Stewart, Benjamin Yarbourough, Tara  Yarbourough and Jeremy Maestas;  several great-grandchildren including Erykah Camacho-Stewart

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband John; and daughter Paige Stewart.
