Olive Kathryn Ely, age 93 of Ely died Friday, July 13, 2012 in Eveleth Health Services Park She was born October 22, 1918 in Rice Lake, WI the daughter of Frank and Matilda (Kubesh) Cimfl and married Clifford Ely. She was a longtime resident of Rice Lake, moving to Ely, MN in 1999.
Olive is survived by daughters: Darlene (Clayton) of Leesville, LA and Lois (Jim) Jiede of Ely; grandsons: Dan, Don, and David Hohweiler and their families.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings: Anna, Emil, Ernest, Mary, John, Wilma, Victor, and her husband Clifford Ely.
At Olive's request, there will be no formal services.
