Oma Marie Bills, age 76 of Hibbing died Friday, May 3, 2019 in Heritage Manor Health Care Center with family at her side. She was born March 13, 1943 in Whitewood, VA the daughter of Stewart Gibson and Myrtle Hyvari.  She was united in marriage to Daniel Bills on June 3, 1972, at the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church in Hibbing. Marie lived in Togo, Poole Location, and was a longtime Hibbing resident. She operated a day care and was a personal care attendant.

Marie enjoyed spending winters in Arizona, Florida and south Alabama, travelling, sunbathing, and playing cards. She attended the Christian Way Fellowship in Meadowlands, and the Hibbing Assembly of God Church. Marie loved the Lord, and shared her love of music by singing in many area churches with her first husband, Nick. She cherished time spent with her family.

Marie is survived by her husband: Dan; children: Brenda (Tom) Carlson of Hibbing, Sandy Hanson of Virginia, Elaine (Chuck) LaBarge of Hibbing, Tammie Pechovnik of Babbitt; Hailey Gibson of Cloquet, Kevin (Jodi) Gibson of Buffalo Lake MN, Tracy Gibson of Virginia and Jaime Gibson of Virginia; siblings: Russell (JoAnn) Gibson of Pine City, Virgil (Marcia) Gibson of Berea, KY, Gerald (Faye) Gibson of Hibbing, and Jerry (Geneva) Gibson of Glade Hill, VA; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; children: Darrel Gilbert and Andy Gilbert; first husband: Wally Gilbert; siblings: George Gibson, Ruby Marcott, James Gibson, Jimmy Harold Gibson, and Louis Gibson.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the Anderson-Daniels Funeral Home in Hibbing. Visitation will continue on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 12 Noon until the 1:00 p.m. funeral service at the Hibbing Alliance Church. Pastor Kevin Norton will officiate. Interment will follow in the Hibbing Park – Maple Hill Cemetery.
