Patricia Jean Belanger, age 83, longtime resident of Hibbing died Wednesday, September 11, 2013, in the Guardian Angels Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born September 23, 1929, in Roseau, MN, the daughter of Keith and Marion (Seely) Lovejoy. She graduated from International Falls High School. Pat was united in marriage to Ronald A. "Tuppy" Belanger on August 28, 1948, in St. Thomas Church in International Falls.
Pat was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Church. She worked as a homemaker, and she enjoyed bowling, knitting, and gardening.
Pat is survived by her husband: Ronald; four children: Mary (Jim) Floe of Ashland, WI, Patsy (Greg) Galatz of Hibbing, Keith (Leslie) Belanger of Hibbing, and Wayne (Karla) Belanger of Pengilly, MN; a daughter-in-law: Georgia Belanger of Chisholm, MN ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two sisters: Peggy Koslucher of Hibbing, and JoAnn Beauregard of Hoyt Lakes, MN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her son: Ronnie; and three brothers: John, Charlie and Michael.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am Mass of Christian Burial Monday, September 16, 2013, in the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Hibbing. Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery.
