Patricia Pauline Jerde, age 65, longtime resident of Hibbing and formerly of Keewatin died Thursday, April 11, 2013, in St. Mary's Essentia Health in Duluth. She was born April 5, 1948, in Cass Lake, MN, the daughter of Vernon and MaryJane (Turner) Patterson. She graduated from Hibbing High School. She was united in marriage to Phillip Linn in 1966, and later to Charles Jerde in 1984 in Hibbing.
Patricia worked as a homemaker, and enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.
Patricia is survived by her seven children: Michele Rae (James Monetti) Hedlund of Hibbing, Melissa Ann Linn of Hibbing, Michael Vernon (Tina) Linn of Kelly Lake, Adam Charles (Christie Palkovich) Jerde of Hibbing, Dawn Leigh (Steve Palkovich) of Hibbing, Josh Patrick (Laura Sandberg) Jerde of Hibbing, and Jake Daniel (Kelly) Jerde of Hibbing; He sister: Sharon Williams of Hibbing; her significant other: Attanasio Lavia of Iowa; 17 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband: Charles Jerde.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, April 19, 2013, in the Anderson-Daniels Funeral Home Chapel.
