Biography Pauline Adeline Nelson of Keewatin went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, February 12, 2010 at the age of 80. Pauline was born in Forest City, IA on March 18, 1929 to Fred and Opal Lamping. She later married James Nelson on March 25, 1950. They resided in Keewatin for 55 years, where they raised their family of four boys. Pauline was a member of Hibbing C&MA Church were she was active in various ministries. Pauline also loved surrounding herself with friends, family and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one sister.
She is survived by her husband: four sons: Craig (Peggy) of Pengilly, Rick (Connie) of Hibbing, Troy (Kathy) of Nashwauk, and Joel (JoDee) of Elk River; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister: Donna (Marv) Schmelzer; two brothers: Lowell (Audrey) Lamping and Gerald (Phyllis) Lamping.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 16, 2010 from 6-8 pm in the Anderson-Daniels Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, February 17, 2010 in the Hibbing C&MA Church. Pastors Joel Nelson and Karl Emerson will officiate. Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the Gideons.
