Peter Michael Hydukovich, age 63, lifelong resident of Hibbing, died Thursday, October 15, 2015, in his home following a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born May 23, 1952, in Hibbing the son of Leonard and Georgia (Hocking) Hydukovich. Peter graduated from Hibbing High School. Peter was a Veteran of the US Army and was stationed in Germany.
Peter worked as an electrician for Hibbing Taconite Co., retiring after 35 years of Service. He was a member of the Antique Snowmobile Club of America and the Antique Snowmobile Society. He enjoyed snowmobiles, hunting and fishing.
Peter is survived by his children: Nicole Hydukovich of Everett, WA, Sarah (Fiancée: Brian Shain) Hydukovich of Hibbing, and Matthew Hydukovich of Hibbing; His mother: Georgia Hydukovich of Hibbing; his siblings: Susan (Charles) Johnson of Hibbing, Daniel Hydukovich of Yuma, AZ, David Hydukovich of Hibbing, and Nancy Greenwood of Hibbing; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His father: Leonard preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the 12 Noon Funeral Service Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at St. Archangel Michael's Serbian Orthodox Church. The Rev. Fr. Vladimir Lange will officiate. Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Military Honors will be accorded by the Mid-Range Honor Guard.
