Rocci Norcia age 75, passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer on Sunday, December 22, 2013. A lifelong resident of the Iron Range, Rocci touched numerous lives as he worked and raised his family here and he will be dearly missed by many.

Rocci is survived by sisters: Loretta (David) Skalbeck of Mt Iron MN and Marjorie (Richard) Gallagher of Iron MN; children: Scott (Roxanne) of Tower MN, Mark (Susan) of Austin TX, Jennifer (Todd) Lauer of Iron MN and Alfred of Maple Grove MN.; proud grandfather of eleven grandchildren; the great grandfather of one; also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Averil (Nelson) Norcia and his wife of 46 years Leah (Beystrom) Norcia.

A Celebration of Rocci's Life will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Mt. Iton Community Center (8586 Enterprise Drive South, Mt. Iron, MN 55768). This will be an informal gathering, please feel free to come and go as you please. We look forward to you joining us as we celebrate Rocci's home going on December 22, 2013 and his impact on our lives.

It was Rocci's desire that any memorials in his name be directed to the Sand Lake Shuffle, PO Box 487 Virginia, MN 55792.
