Roger G. Sanders, age 61, of Virginia and formerly of Florida, California, and Nevada, died Thursday, August 31, 2017, peacefully in his home. He was born November 8, 1955, in Santa Ana, CA, the son of Don and Lois (Pollock) Sanders. He graduated from high school in Alabama. A Veteran of the US Army, Roger served during the Vietnam War.

Roger worked for Virginia Auto Wash for many years. He enjoyed watching "Wheel of Fortune", and anything having to do with Superman.

He is survived by daughters: Destiny Sanders, Lutasha Mott and Colleen (Shane Holder) Cunningham – all of Virginia; granddaughter: Isabella Cunningham; siblings: Suzanne Williams, Steve Sanders, and Ronald Sanders – all of CA; close friend: Susan Cunningham of Virginia; and numerous extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister: Leona Sanders.

A memorial service will be held Monday, September 11, 2017, at 3:00pm at the Bauman-Cron Funeral Home Chapel in Virginia. Pastor Todd Williamson will officiate.
