Biography Ruth Audrey Anderson, age 84 of Virginia, died Monday, November 16, 2009 in the Edgewood Vista Senior Living Center. She was born December 30, 1924 in Virginia, the daughter of Oscar and Mabel (Mobraten) Anderson. She was a 1942 graduate of Virginia Roosevelt High School and a 1944 graduate of Virginia Junior College. Ruth was a lifelong resident of Virginia, a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and was employed as a secretary/bookkeeper for the Orville T. Hegland Insurance Agency. Her hobbies included reading, needlework, music, and collecting comics and dolls.

Ruth is survived by a brother-in-law: John Sosinski of Stevens Point, WI; a niece: Anne (Dave) Rozeboom of Stevens Point, WI; and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister: Arlene (Anderson) Sosinski.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, November 20th in the Edgewood Vista Senior Living Center's Chapel. Brenda Tibbetts, AiM will officiate. Inurnment will take place in the family plot in the Forbes Cemetery.

Memorials are preferred, and may be directed to Our Savior's Lutheran Church or the Virginia Public Library.
