Ruth B. Rajamaki, 86, passed away on January 1, 2009 in Ely. She was born on June 6, 1922 in Ely to Alfred and Ida (Matson) Nissila. Ruth is survived by her daughter: Evelyn (Jerry) Schefers of Foley, daughter-in-law: Sally Rajamaki of Park City, Utah, (10) grandchildren, (15) great-grandchildren, (1) sister: Fannie Fenske of Ely. The family would like to thank Rudy and Sue Scufsa for the wonderful care they gave to Ruth. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son David, (3) sisters and (3) brothers. Funeral services will be on Monday, January 5, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at First Lutheran Church in Ely, with Pastor John Bonk officiating.
