Ruth Jeanette Ryberg, age 78, longtime resident of Iron, MN, died peacefully at home on July 23, 2026, with family at her side. She was born March 11, 1948, in Cook, MN, the daughter of Eino and Lillian (Hanni) Marsyla. She was a graduate of Cherry High School. Ruth was united in marriage to Ronald A. Ryberg on January 16, 1971, at the Riverside Chapel in Forbes, MN.

Ruth worked as a homemaker, and enjoyed cooking, baking, and petting dogs.

Ruth is survived by her husband: Ronald; and numerous extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings: Harold, Donald, Jerry, Raymond, Karen, Marvin, and Robert.

Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until the 1:00 pm Memorial Service Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the Bauman-Cron Funeral Home Chapel. Bill Bauman will be the Celebrant.
