Sharon M. Bozicevich, age 76 of Eveleth died Sunday, June 15, 2014 at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth. She was born July 21, 1937 in Virginia, the daughter of Roy P. and Marie T. (Harrington) Johnson. Sharon was a graduate of Virginia High School and moved to Eveleth in the 1950's. She was employed as a Teller with the First National Bank of Virginia and later was an Eligibility Determination Coordinator for AEOA in Virginia for 22 years, retiring in 2002. Sharon was a member of Gethsemane Evangelical Lutheran Church in Virginia. Her greatest joy was going out with friends and family, spending time with her grandchildren, and supporting their sporting events. She also enjoyed getting together with her "Sewing Club" and Class of 55 friends.
Sharon is survived by daughter: Dawn Berg of Virginia; son-in-law: Gary Dyshaw of Eagan; brother: Jerry Johnson of Meridian, ID; grandchildren: Tyler Berg of Virginia, Heather (Brandon) Hoey of Duluth, Brittany Dyshaw of St. Paul and Nick (Melissa) Dyshaw of Stillwater; two expected great-grandchildren; extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter: Glory Dyshaw; and brothers: Robert Johnson and Jimmy Johnson in infancy.
A Gathering time for family and friends will begin Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Bauman-Cron Funeral Home Chapel in Virginia. Gathering will continue Friday, June 20, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Celebration of Life Memorial Service in Gethsemane Evangelical Lutheran Church. Pastor Nathan Sager will officiate. Inurnment will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery in Virginia at a later date.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
