Shelita Renee Tate, age 34, of Hibbing and formerly of Marysville, CA, died unexpectedly Thursday, August 3, 2023, in her home.  She was born February 9, 1989, in Frankfurt, Germany, the daughter of Tara Tate and Kelvin Freeman.  She was a High School Graduate and went on to complete some College courses.

Shelita was a homemaker who enjoyed photography and helping her friends.

She is survived by her children: Talon Allen, Jr., Devine Tate, Kelvin Roberts, and Vincent Roberts; siblings: Raina Tate, Kayla Freeman, James Tilson, Perrin Cole, and Dwayne Tilson; mother: Tara Tate of Hibbing; father: Kelvin (Tracey) Freeman of Muscle Shoals, AL; boyfriend: Asa Roberts; grandmothers: Charlotte Tate of Hibbing, and Fannie Freeman of Tuscumbia, AL; and numerous extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers: Hugh Tate, and Billy Freeman.

A private Celebration of Life will be held.
