Snowden Elizabeth Johnson-Bothwell, age 7 of Hibbing died tragically on Sunday, May 14, 2017 as the result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. She was born December 11, 2009 in Virginia, the daughter of Charles Bothwell III and Christa Johnson. Snowden was in the 1st grade at the Parkview Elementary School in Virginia. She was a member of the Virginia Figure Skating Club, and enjoyed skating, riding her bike, playing baseball, and making new friends. Snowden loved spending time with family.

Snowden is survived by her mother: Christa Johnson of Virginia; father and step-mother: Chuck (Maegen) Bothwell of Hibbing; siblings: Samuel Bothwell, Avery Dolinsek and Kaelen Dolinsek; maternal grandparents: Brian Johnson of Virginia, Jean Harvey of Ft. Meyers, FL, and honorary grandmother Kathy Wiita-Lenich of Irvine, CA; paternal grandparents: Charles and Shirley Bothwell of Mt. Iron, Leon Hunt, Carmel Hunt, Marlee Barby, and Mark Barby; aunts and uncles: Jeff and Laura Johnson, Jay Johnson, Mathew (Fiancée Kim Whitrock ) Bothwell, Jen (Mike) Ramponi, Greg and Cheryl Peterson, Lela Hunt, Rhonda Fritz, and Sherri Jenkins; cousins: Sage Johnson, Lucca Ramponi, Parker Johnson and Hailey Johnson; extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her half-brother: Bradley Jacob.

A gathering time for family and friends will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday May, 20, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Virginia. The Memorial Service will begin at 12 Noon at the Church. Pastor Brad Felix will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and may be directed to the Mesabi Humane Society.
