Steven Sidney Thielbar 72, of Embarrass has died Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at the St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth. He was born October 1, 1950, in Faribault, Minnesota to Calvin & Virginia Thielbar. He moved to Tower after graduating from Randolph high school. He met the love of his life Elaine and made a home for 50 years in Embarrass. He was quite the outdoorsmen. He loved fishing, hunting, & walking in the woods.

Steve was a kind and generous man who will be sadly missed by his daughter Amanda (Leo) Lambert, son Greg (Erin) Thielbar, and his grandchildren Hannah & Emma Lambert, Gage & Nolan Thielbar, and his many brothers, sisters, nieces, & nephews.

He was proceeded in the death by his wife Elaine (Erickson) Thielbar, parents Calvin & Virginia Thielbar, sister Alice Perkins.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Memorial Service Tuesday, January 10, at the Vermilion Funeral Home in Tower.  Greg Anderson will be the officiant.
