Susan Kay Jensrud, age 55 of Hibbing died Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Essentia Health – Virginia. She was born October 27, 1960 in Hibbing the daughter of James and Elaine (Grossman) Mathews. Susan enjoyed growing plants, cooking, decorating and fashion, garage sales, estate sales, and loved to sing all types of music. She will be remembered for her caring spirit and caring for others.

Susan is survived by her mother: Elaine Mathews of Hibbing, sons: Jesse Jensrud of Terre Haute, IN and Nick (Amber) Jensrud of Cook; siblings: Lori Mathews of Plymouth, Julie (Wayne) Thune of Hibbing, Patti (Gregg) Moll of Prior Lake, Larry (Becky) Mathews of Chisholm, Roxann Mathews of Pengilly and Joe Mathews of Hibbing; grandchildren: Jacob, Calvin and Haley; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father: James Mathews.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2016 in the Anderson-Daniels Funeral Home in Hibbing. A visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon. Pastor Rod Tuomi will officiate. Interment will follow in the Hibbing Park – Maple Hill Cemetery.
