Teddi Sundbom, age 72 of Virginia died Friday, March 25, 2011 in St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth. She was born December 22, 1938 in Virginia the daughter of Roy and Evelyn (Sandberg) Fredrickson; and was a graduate of Virginia High School. Teddi married Roger Sundbom on April 6, 1957 and was a lifelong Virginia resident. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran, a Special Olympics Coach for the Road Runners, and a former Girl Scout Leader. Teddi was a homemaker and liked to sew, knit, cross stitch, and enjoyed snowmobiling.
Teddi is survived by daughters: Lori Sundbom and Lynn Sundbom both of Virginia; grandchildren: Jeremy Sundbom, Nikolas Sundbom, and Melissa Maki; great-granddaughters: Madison, Zoey, and Shaelyn; her uncle: Todd Fredrickson and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Roger in 2009.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 31, 2011 from 12:30 p.m. until the 1:30 p.m. Funeral Service in Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Virginia. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Virginia.
Memorials are preferred.
