Theodore F. Jeske, age 81, of Cook and formerly of Milwaukee, WI, Three Lakes, WI, and Virginia, MN, died Thursday, August 25, 2016, at the Cook Care Center. He was born April 19, 1935, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Harry and Agnes (Wilkowski) Jeske. He graduated from High School and went on to attend the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point and Superior where he received his Master's Degree. A veteran of the US Army, Ted served in the 3rd Infantry. Ted was united in Marriage to Margarete Hanke on August 6, 1960, in Three Lakes, Wisconsin.

Ted was a teacher in Virginia for 33 years where he taught Social Studies, English, and Photography. He retired in 1993. He was a member of the Lions and the Elks clubs. Ted enjoyed playing cards, fishing, hunting, woodworking and furniture-making, travel, and snowmobiling.

Ted is survived by his wife of 56 years: Greta; two brothers: John (Jolene) Jeske and Tom Jeske, both of Appleton, WI; several nieces and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one nephew.

At Ted's request, no formal services will be held.
