Thomas G. Rukavina, age 75, of Hibbing went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 13, 2017, following a brief illness. He was born April 26, 1942, in Hibbing the son of George and Anna Rukavina. He was a kind soul and will be greatly missed.

Thomas worked as an X-Ray Technician, and later for MDI in Hibbing. He was a Ham Radio Operator and loved to gather with his Ham Radio Friends. The love of his life was his dogs Scottie, Lulu, Sweet Pea, Captain, and his cat Mrs. Magoo, and horse Marconi.

He is survived by his niece & nephew: Frank (Dede) Howard, son: Patrick (Brenda) Rukavina; great niece: Crystal (Jeff) Gangl, great nephew: Brandon Howard; great-great nephews: Dustin, Tucker and Briggs Howard; ham radio friends Chuck Corwin and Nana Hukka.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Private Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2017, in the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Hibbing Park "Maple Hill" Cemetery.
