Tina Hardy Brown, age 50 of Soudan, died Monday, September 3, 2018 in Essentia Health Virginia after a valiant fight with cancer. She was born December 8, 1967 in Ely, MN the daughter of Tom Helm and Dorothy Lushine. Tina was born in Ely, moved to Wisconsin, and returned to Soudan in the late 1980's. She married Russell "Rusty" Brown on July 2, 2005 in Tower, and they made their home in Soudan. She was employed as the manager for D'Ericks Tower Liquor for 20 years. Tina loved motor cycle riding, concerts, swimming, and people.

Tina is survived by husband: Russell "Rusty" of Soudan; Mom: Dorothy Lushine of Ely; brothers: Carl Hardy of Silver Bay and Kevin Helm; children: Travis (Jenna) Benck of Soudan and Matthew (Katie) Benck of Palo; step-sons: Jacob Brown of Hibbing, Kyle Brown of Babbitt, and Karl (Angel) Brown of Eveleth; grandchildren: Declan Brown of Babbitt and Ezekiel Benck of Soudan and Brynlee; extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by Tommy Helm and Dave Hardy.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2018 in the Tower Mini-park. Inurnment will take place in the Ely Cemetery.
