Vanessa Annette Adams, age 33 a longtime resident of Tower and Virginia, died tragically on Monday, April 11, 2016 as the result of injuries sustained in automobile accident near Charlotte, North Carolina. She was born October 25, 1982 in Virginia the daughter of Vernon and Cynthia (Boshey) Adams and was a graduate of Tower-Soudan High School. Vanessa was employed by Fortune Bay Casino and she enjoyed traveling and spending time with her children.

Vanessa is survived by her parents: Vernon and Cynthia; children: Rayanne Cynthia Marroquin, Shyla Rain Adams, Rafael Gustavo Marroquin III, Seth Sequoia Lien and Lakota Rose Lien; siblings: Raymond Boshey, Michelle Adam and Vernon Adams, Jr. all of Tower; Maternal Grandfather: Raymond Boshey of Tower; extended family and friends.

Visitation will begin Friday, April 15, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the Vermilion Wellness Center in Tower. Funeral Ceremony will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2016 in the Vermilion Wellness Center. Billy Blackwell will officiate. Interment will follow in the Vermilion Reservation Cemetery.
