Vicki Jean Johnson, age 38, of Virginia died Wednesday, August 21, 2013, St. Michael's Health and Rehabilitation Center following a battle with cancer. She was born October 24, 1974, in Shakopee, MN, the daughter of Dannis and Lovera (Bartley) Johnson and was a graduate of Santa Clara High School. While in High School, Vicki sang with the Honor Choir and performed at Disneyland. She lived in Glenview, IL, Santa Clara, Ca and Goodyear, AZ prior to moving to Virginia.
Vicki loved to study, sing, and scrap book; and cherished her time spent outdoors with her children.
Vicki is survived by her companion: Mark Blackburn of Virginia; children: Kaylie, Tyler, and Logan of Virginia; parents: Dan (Karen) Johnson of Savage, MN and Jean Johnson-Alger of Goodyear, AZ; brothers: Ronald Johnson, Lonnie (Jennifer) Johnson, and John Alger all of Goodyear, AZ: and nephews: Eric, Scott, and Justin; and extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
A celebration of Vicki's life will be held on Friday, August 23, 2013, at 1:00 pm, in the Bauman-Cron Funeral Home Chapel in Virginia. Greg Anderson will be the Celebrant.
