Vida Marie (Klair) Swor, 90, of Virginia, MN passed away peacefully on Monday, January 1st, 2018. Vida was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, and member of the Hope Community Presbyterian Church and greater Virginia community. Vida's voracity for a full life extended to her family, friends, and hobbies. She was an avid reader, gardener, card shark, baker and cook, always known for her Sandwich Loaf. Above all, Vida cherished time spent with her family.

Vida was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell M. Swor; brother Lester (DeeDee) Klair and sister Verna (Roland) Gates. Survived by children: Michael (Gail) Swor, Cynthia Mariel, Carole Swor; grandchildren: Steph Swor, Meghan (Waheed Oyelakin) Swor, Whitney (Brian) Caldwell, Addison Hendricks (fiancée Rachel Solis); and great-grandchildren: Brynnlee Hendricks, Fadilah Oyelakin.

A memorial service will be held in the summer of 2018. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Vida's name to the Friends of the Virginia Public Library.
