William Lincoln "Bill" Lundstrom, age 76 of Kugler Twp. died Tuesday, February 9, 2010 peacefully at home. He was born February 12, 1933 in Pike, MN the son of Sanfrid and Margaret (Elde) Lundstrom and was a 1951 graduate of Embarrass High School. Bill was born in Pike River, grew up in Vermilion Twp., lived in Colorado Springs, Co from 1956 – 1958 and has resided in Kugler Twp since 1971. He married Gisela Dangel on February 10, 1956 in Kreuz-Wertheim Germany. Bill was a production truck driver for Erie Mining Co./ LTV Steel, retiring in 1992. He was a Medical Specialist in the U.S. Army Veteran, stationed in Germany during the Korean War; a member of the Nelson-Jackson American Legion Post # 245 in Tower, and the United Steel Workers Union Local 4108. Bill enjoyed, the outdoors, hunting, and fishing.
Bill is survived by his children: Arnold (Debra) Lundstrom of Tower, Dianne D'Angel of Hibbing, Patricia Jarve of Virginia, and Christel (Scott) Rinehart of Sioux Rapids, IA; siblings: Richard (Karen) Lundstrom of Tower, James Lundstrom of Ely, Rodney (Pam) Lundstrom of Tower and Maxine (Tim) Hughes of Tower; grandchildren: Heather Lundstrom, Michael Jarve, Elizabeth (Levi) Anderson, Joseph Jarve, Douglas (Amanda) Mihin, Emma Rinehart, Katie Rinehart, and Henry Rinehart; great-granddaughters: Kelsey Rose and Alex Belle Anderson; and numerous nieces and nephews, including special nephew: Brett Lundstrom.
He was preceded in death by wife: Gisela in 1990; his parents; and a brother: Arnold Lundstrom.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 13, 2010 from1:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. Funeral Service in Bauman's Vermilion Funeral Home in Tower. Pastor Aaron Lofgren will officiate. Spring Interment will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Tower.
