Zora McKee, age 95, of Hibbing and formerly of Chisholm, Buhl, and California, died Sunday, August 21, 2016, at Guardian Angels Health and Rehabilitation in Hibbing. She was born February 21, 1921, in Buhl, MN, the daughter of Gabriel and Mildred (Kantar) Madrinich. She graduated from Buhl High School. Zora was united in marriage to Jim McKee in Reno, NV.

Zora was the owner and operator of the 1st Avenue Beauty Shop in Hibbing. She was a member of St. Michael's Serbian Orthodox Church, and she enjoyed painting.

Zora is survived by her son: James (Kelly) McKee of Aurora, CO; two grandchildren: Eden (Luke) Gramith, and Haley McKee; one great-granddaughter: Mila King; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Jim; nine brothers and sisters; and two nephews: Gabriel Madrinich, and Ted Madrinich.

A private service will be held. Burial will be in the Hibbing Park "Maple Hill" cemetery in Hibbing.
