Milanovich, Zorie, age 85 of Hibbing passed peacefully on September 5, 2011.

Zorie was born in Carson Lake, MN on February 21, 1926, the eighth of 10 children of Milan "Mike" and Boija "Barbara" Milanovich. The family moved to Leetonia in 1934. In 1970, Zorie and her brother Joe moved the family home to Hibbing, where they spent their remaining years.

For 35 years Zorie enjoyed her work as cashier for the National Tea grocery chain. There she befriended many Range residents. After her retirement she continued to enjoy greeting people by face if not be name for many years. Winters spent in Ellenton, Florida with other family members, lake outings and celebrations with family and friends brought her great joy.

Zorie will be deeply missed by special niece Gerri "Pepper" Gardner and her family, husband Bill, children Rachel and Paul (Suzanne) and their children Jordan, Sophia and Emme. She is also survived by sisters Sophie Waite and Daisy Pavelich of Hibbing, nephews Robert DeLeo, Raymond Grimes, John Lineberry, nieces Georgia Pavelich, Billie Jo Hooper, Leanne Feher.

Preceeded in death by parents, brothers Joe Milanovich, Mike Milanovich, sisters, Mary DeLeo, Millie Caldron, Doreen Grimes, Cecelia Lineberry, infant Dana Milanovich. For the past 6 months Zorie resided with Mary Gargano and family where she received tender and loving care. Thank you Dr. Jan Baldwin for your patience, warmth and wisdom.

Visitation will be on Friday, September 9, 2011, at 9.30 A.M. followed by services at 10.30 A.M. in the Anderson-Daniels Funeral Home Chapel. The Very Reverend Bogdan Zjalic will officiate. Internment will be at Maple Hill Cemetery.
