Obituary

            Aaron A. Grahek, age 51, of Eveleth died Friday, February 3, 2023, while doing what he loved – fishing.  He was born August 27, 1971, in Virginia the son of Bernard and Mary Kay (Pavelich) Grahek.  Following his high school graduation in Apple Valley, CA he attended Victor Valley Community College, and later Dunwoody Institute.

            Aaron worked as a heavy equipment operator for Gulbranson Excavating for more than 15 years – traveling all around the country.  He loved fishing – winter and summer.

            Aaron is survived by his mother: Mary Kay of Eveleth, MN; girlfriend: Melodie Helquist of Proctor, MN; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends.

            He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Theodore (Teresa) Grahek; maternal grandparents: Frank, Sr. (Barbara) Pavelich; and his father: Bernard (2015).

            A private service to celebrate Aaron’s life will be held at the Iron Range Vineyard Church.
