Angelo Frank Poaletti IV, age 59, died on February 13, 2026, at his home in Eveleth due to natural causes. Born on July 13, 1966, in Eveleth, MN, Angelo graduated from Mt. Iron High School

Angelo served in the Marine Corps from 1984 to 1988.  He lived in the Twin Cities, Arizona, Illinois and eventually he made his way back to the Iron Range.  He worked for nearly four decades as an over-the-road truck driver. 
 

Angelo loved baseball and hockey, with a special devotion to the New York Yankees. He found joy in boating, motorcycling, and driving anything fast, relishing the thrill of adventure. He was also an avid reader and enjoyed spirited debates.

Angelo survived his children: Anthony of Minneapolis, MN and Angelina (Jo Juarez fiancé) of Rochester, MN; his brother, Michael Poaletti of Eveleth, MN; sisters: Gina (Jack) Poaletti-Koski of Eveleth, MN and Paula (Jeremy) Poaletti-Holden of Silver Bay, MN; one granddaughter on the way; former wife Paula; Step-Children: Emily Rasmussen, Tyler Rasmussen and Michael Rasmussen and Step-Grandchildren: August Danielson and Sophia Engholm.

Angelo was preceded in death by his parents: Angelo Poaletti III and Donna Poaletti.

:  A gathering of family and friends will begin at 1:00 PM on Saturday February 28, 2026 at Northstar Church in Virginia, MN with a service to honor and celebrate Angelo's life immediately following at 2:00 PM.  Please wear New York Yankee attire to celebrate his love of the team.  Inurnment will take place at the Eveleth Cemetery at a later date.
