Christopher Lee Adams Obituary

Christopher Lee “Chris” Adams, age 40 of Hibbing, died Monday, July 21, 2025 in the Waterview Woods in Eveleth. He was born October 17, 1984 in Virginia, the son of Carlene Duncan Adams, and was a graduate of Eveleth High School. Chris enjoyed playing video games, watching movies, going on outings, fishing, shopping, and visiting family.  He was very spiritual, loved pow-wows, and grass dancing. He was employed by the East Range DAC.


Chris is survived by siblings: Daniel Adams, Reed Johnson, Russell Johnson, and Jodi Antell; Guardian: Randy Adams; uncles: Vern Adams, Les Adams, and aunt: Sherrie Adams; many cousins, including favorite cousin, Jordan Adams, numerous extended family and friends.


The wake will begin at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2025 at the Bois Forte Tribal Government Center in Nett Lake. Visitation will continue until the 10:00 a.m. service of Tribal Rites on Friday, July 25, 2025 at the Government Center. Ricky DeFoe will be the Spiritual Advisor.


Chris’ family gives special thanks for the staff and administration to the Range Center; and his caregivers at Mapleview and Heritage ESI.
