Dale E Metcalf

            Dale Edward Metcalf, age 68, longtime resident of Meadowlands, MN, died Sunday, January 30, 2022 in his home.  He was born January 28, 1954, in Minneapolis, MN, the son of Edward C. and Jeanette M. (Fors) Metcalf.  He graduated from high school in Minneapolis.

            Dale worked as a Bus Driver for DTA – retiring in 2017.  He enjoyed flying ultralight airplanes, riding and working on motorcycles and cars, tinkering with electronics of all kinds, working with computers, learning about outer space, and pondering conspiracies.

            Dale is survived by his children: Tim Metcalf of Floodwood, MN, Mike Metcalf of Malmo, MN, Jason Metcalf (fiancée Emelia Rayn Guitare) of Malmo, and Kira (Matthew) Fanberg of Malmo; sister: Lois (Roger) Handel of Isanti, MN; and grandchildren: Reese Fanberg, Ava Fanberg, and Terarzhae Friedman.

            He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother: Daniel.

            A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2022, at the Anderson-Daniels Funeral Home Chapel.  Greg Anderson will be the celebrant.
