Daniel Charles Stahl, 69 years of age, passed away peacefully at his home on September 13, 2024

Born as a twin on May 12, 1955, in Winona, MN and soon after adopted by his parents Charles and Olive Stahl.

Dan not only grew up in Virgina, MN, but he spent his entire life as a resident. As a young lad, he learned the trade of upholstery as he worked alongside his father at Stahl Upholstery. This work took Danny into his early adult life, but he would move on from the family business, eventually settling into his work as the Maintenance Supervisor at the Thunderbird Mall in Virginia. Many would say Dan always had a smile on his face and would stop to have a chat with many of the customers.

On September 6, 1975, Daniel was united in marriage to the love of his life, Renae (Keith) and together they made the northside of Virginia their home. Together they built a warm and inviting place, where many family members and friends alike would stop by, including many of one of their three children’s friends. Dan loved a good chat with anyone who stopped for one.

After 31 dedicated years, Danny retired from his work. Since then, you could find him in one of his happy places, The Man Cave Garage, or even better, out at Birch Lake near Ely, MN. Whether out for a boat ride, doing a little fishing, or just tinkering around the place, Danny was at peace.

Micheal (Tammy) Stahl of Mountain Iron, MN

Daughter: Elizabeth Stahl of Virginia, MN

Grandson Taylor Stahl

Granddaughter Natalie Stahl

Sisters: Debra Dolence and Veronica (John) Johnson

Brother in laws: Bobby (Rudean) Keith & Roger (Julie) Keith

Sister in laws: Jodi (Gary) Ulman, Vicky (Todd) Anderson, Shelley Keith & Linda Keith

Bonus Son: Dan (Christa) Peterson along with bonus grandchildren Aubrey, Brenna & Everet and many nieces and nephews.

Daniel is proceeded in death by:

His wife, Renae

Both parents: Chuck and Olive

Brother: Bruce Stahl

Brother is laws: Joseph Dolence, Dennis, and Scott Keith. Sister in law: Sharon Keith

Father and mother in law: Roger and Teresa Keith.

At Dan’s request, there will be a private family burial service only.
