Donald Norris Brazell, age87 of Virginia died Tuesday, November 23, 2021 in his home, with his family by his side. He was born January 27, 1934 in Jackson, Michigan the son of Donald Clayton and Geraldine Virginia (Whaley) Brazell. Don served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War and was awarded a Purple Heart. He married Naomi Warmboe on June 6, 1980; and was employed by Caterpillar as a mechanic. He was a hardworking, jack-of-all trades and enjoyed antiques; and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Donald is survived by children: Kenneth Brazell of Moose Lake, Kathleen Brazell and Donald Brazell of Virginia; and Patrice Ebert of California; grandchildren: Joshua Brazell, Joey Dahmen, Akashia, Alisyn, Madisyn, and Jayden Brazell of Virginia; Kathryn Harrigan and Kirsten Brazell of California; Rebecca Sheppard; extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Naomi; children: Resa Splawn and Dean Ashton; and sister: Shirl.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Virginia. Pastor Brad Felix will officiate. A gathering time for family and friends will begin one hour prior to the service at the Church.
